The whole earth is headed to judgment.

Because we believe this we want to live in a way that pleases God. That way is to be made like the Lord Jesus Christ so that we live like Him.

A pastor is God’s gift to you to help you, teach you, and enable you to obtain the eternal glory that God has for you.

He does this by feeding people the word of God and watching out for them to protect them. That’s where we started.

Judgment is coming, you have to prepare for that. Maybe you need some help?

God has help for you, a person who takes Jesus extremely seriously, so as you watch him, you take Jesus seriously, and you inherit eternal life.

I’ve done some difficult things in my life, but Christianity is the most difficult by far.

Have you ever thought that? It’s not easy.

Is church really necessary?

I can hear better singing and playing elsewhere. I can be entertained better elsewhere.

You need to be strong and secure in who you are to live for Jesus and not be bothered with how people treat you.

How you become strong and secure is to put on Christ. Put on His death, put on His resurrection.

Peter is showing us that we are going to suffer if we do what is right.

Jesus is the great example of this.

Why can’t we have a nice quiet life and not suffer?

There’s a simple answer that we will look at today: it’s not possible to have a nice quiet life in this world.
